Nation[?]: Imārat-i Ahmādī-yi Sahel / Ahmadi Emirate of Solentia (Solentia)
Seats[?] in National Jirga (Milli Jirga)[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
The Solentian National Party will work to ensure that everyone has access to a secure job that pays at least the Living Wage and we will build an economy that works for the common good, not just the privileged few. We will work to restore public services to public hands and we will ensure they are run in the interests of the people that use them. By working to invest in renewable energy and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels, we will build a stable and sustainable society that protects our planet from climate change. By fighting to build more social rented homes and bringing abandoned buildings back into use we will ensure that everyone has a secure and affordable place to live. We will fight to eliminate personal taxes on incomes below the low-income cut-off of $20,000, raise taxes on profits of large corporations, and institute a full range of "polluter pays" taxes, designed to reduce the use of fossil fuels by sending a market signal to producers. We plan to re-invest in our national rail systems, building more train cars in Solentia, increasing train speeds, phasing in high speed rail where feasible, and creating green transportation and energy infrastructure corridors in key regions. We plan to increase existing federal funding to stimulate a massive re-investment in public transportation, pedestrian, cycle and car-sharing infrastructure in all Solentian towns and cities. We will work hard to ensure that quality education is available and affordable for all in our country, regardless of their socioeconomic situation. We will fight hard to ensure that access to higher education is based on merit and not ability to pay. The SNP will focus on putting Solentia First. This means putting Solentians first. We will fight hard to put the good of the hard working people of Solentia above that of foreign nationals and the corporate elite in this country.
