The Society of Free Thinkers was founded in April 2831 by Kit Mouat and George W. Foote. They declared the main tenets of the party to be: -promote the use of science, logic and reason in forming one's personal beliefs -procect democracy and its pricipals throughout Badara -support human rights throughout terra After working to gain national recognition for 18 months, SOFT participated in it's first national elections and won 5% of the legislature and fared reasonably well in the Executive election, with G. Foote receiving 10% of the vote in the presidential election. |
