| The Dirk Vagner Musik-Gesellschaft (Dirk Vagner Music Society) is dedicated to preserving and building upon the magnificent cultural legacy bestowed upon us by Dundorf's very own musical genius, Dirk Vagner, whom we rightfully acknowledge as the greatest musician of all time. The Society is primarily concerned with celebrating Vagner's work and making it accessible to the Dundorfian masses, but we have organised a political wing in order to put into expression Vagner's philosophical ideas and to make sure his legacy is not wasted. Music is the highest and most potent form of human expression, and it is for this reason we must make sure Dundorfian culture remains true to Vagner's ideals and does not become lost in the popular but shallow cultural sewage which is so prevalent today. Like Vagner, we stand as one with the common people, and call for more support and protection for their cultural inheritance. We want to see much more investment in the Vagnerian music industry, and we wish to give every school child the opportunity to learn all of Vagner's music off by heart before they have left school. Music is our past, our present and our future. Music is ourselves. Music is Dundorf. Long live music! |
