Description[?]:
The Coalition of Mobsters and Crime Lords represents the interests of the Egelion underworld. This includes everyone from the prostitute on the street to mafia chieftans. While we can certainly make a profit when the government chooses to outlaw something given that we represent respectable businessmen trying to make their way in this world we prefer to have their operations legal. Thus we seek wide open policies where the government does not interfere with the actions of our pimps, pornographers, drug dealers, hustlers, extortionists, and slavers. We also stand against unreasonable government control over it's citizenry. What is the point of police when one can achieve the same result paying protection money? What is the point of public sanitation when we can dump waste at a much cheaper price? What is the point of a minimum wage or immigration controls? They just get in the way of business. And who is government to say you can't own a child or adult slave to do your bidding? That is not to say we are anti-government. We support a strong federal government with a strong military that can keep us safe from others. We also support high taxes and high government spending. Especially when the proceeds of such taxation go to our favorite charities. We are businessmen who are always looking for a deal. Any and all parties are invited to contact us. The Party proudly supports the reign of Godfather Janos Varga. A man of the people and now hereditary ruler of all Egelion. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
