Description[?]:
The Democratic League was established to maintain the democratic principles of Likatonia and prevent a one-party tyranny from forming. Though encompassing individuals from across the political spectrum, the DL is primarily a centre-left party, believing in the twin goals of equality and justice. We believe in devolution of powers to the local level on most issues, with the notable exceptions of Defence, Foreign Affairs and Healthcare. We believe centralisation increases the risk of tyranny and the further oppression of the majority by the minority. We endeavour to clean up our nation, both literally in the form of proactive environmental policies. And figuratively in terms of the corruption that infects all aspects of Likatonian society. |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
