Description[?]:
We are a radical centrist party which believes in full freedom in both personal and economic issues. Our party has roots in the liberal movement of Kalopia which battled the various monarchist-fascist groups which ruled Kalopia for several decades. Party Policies Economic We believe in a free market economy with very little government interference, balanced budgets, low taxes and spending capped at round one third of GDP. Federalism The RCP believes in reserving all powers to the thema except for foreign affairs, monetary policy and defence which the national government shall hold. Social Issues The RCP is socially liberal and aims for an open society, rule of law and a full quiver of civil rights. Years of conservative rule have made Kalopia an ultra restrictive joke but this shall end under an RCP government. Foreign Affairs The RCP believes that Terra is a village and should act in harmony and fight injustice where ever it pops up. We reserve a special interest for greater integration within Majatra. Constitution We favour a parliamentary executive with limited powers and strong themes with elected governors. A liberal democracy with respect for human rights, minorities and personal liberty is the ideal type of nation Defence We believe in the government providing a strong and confident professional defence force but oppose militarism, conscription and overspending. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
