The Dundorf People's Party is a moderate conservative party, formed in February of 3812 as a counterweight to the SED. Its main policy guidelines are as follows: - A semi-federal political system - Direct election of mayors - A mixed economy, with emphasis on private enterprise - Ecology and conservation - Support for the protection of the national cultural heritage - An adequate social safety net, but encouragement of private charity and philantropy - A strong military - Traditional values; respect of elders, opposition to same-sex marriage, reverance to religion - State support for families - A mixed system of state, charter and religious schools - Support for home schooling - Law and order - Opposition to drug legalization while backing temperance - Protection of private property - Low taxation - Reciprocal tariffs (a compromise, since the party is split on this issue) |
