Description[?]:
We of the Paranational League recognize that socialism cannot succeed under the auspices of a singular central authority. For how can the oppressed be liberated, when those once oppressed take on the role of the oppressor. For within any defined authority be it government, corporation or political party there comes some measure of oppression and some qualifying difference between those without and those within. The fulfillment of socialism must come from within the individual as expressed in their community. The individual must have some ownership in their community if socialism is to remain adaptive and benevolent with regard to the oppressed. Our aim is to tie individuals indelibly into the fabric of their society, however they define it, so that by their collective stake true equality can be established. Thereby we take no stock in authorities or ideologies. The means of production must be democratically controlled and the central governments aim should only be to provide an environment in which this can occur, enforcing law and order, guaranteeing public safety and enforcing and improving standards of living within the nation. We intend to transcend the dichotomy between socialism and capitalism, believing private individuals and groups have every right to exist and to pursue their own initiative. Our only qualification being that such entities make provision to improve the lives of those in their communities, through in a means which each community defines.Thereby economic oppression cannot take root and individual initiative is inherently preserved. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
