Presidential candidate: Manfred Werstein (formerly of Sol) Chairman: Egon Hansen (formerly of SLL) --- --- --- --- --- Solidarität is a centre-left political party in Dorvik, founded in August 4575, by Natalie Pruefer and Ingolf Gansz. It is currently led by Klara Lichtenfels (as of 4621). Since its establishment, Solidarität and its social democratic policy agenda have played a large role in Dorvik, including serving in the Grand Coalition that overturned the so-called "Defense of Democracy Act." More recently, Solidarität has worked with parties in the center and on the left to more fully pursue its social democratic aims. Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: "A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven." - Jean Chretien (describing the level of proof about weapons of mass destruction that Canada required to join the Iraq War) |
