Description[?]:
The (NEW) National Conservative Party was founded on December 2491 by Lord Hitchman. Lord Hitchman was a member of the previous Conservative Party and was dissapointed at it's demise, in particular of the rise of the communist regime. After several months of working to develop a support base it was decided to reform the party. The National Conservative Party endeavors to be the forefront of Conservatism in the United Kingdom of Beluzia and Bailon. As the party moves foreward it will develop specific policies that will promote individualism, fiscal liberty and social cohesion. On December 2505 the Founder and Leader Lord Hitchman resigned from Parliament and a new leader John Howard Jnr was elected by the grassroot membership of the Party. John Howard Jnr is the youngest leader of a Conservative force at the Age of 35 and has been a sitting member of the Iker Ado Republic since the Party was first formed. He has an extensive range of political skills and will take the Party forward. PARTY ACHIEVEMENTS: November 2492 - Passing of the Freedom of Choice and Protection of Life Act - which allows women to have an Abortion during the first trimester. December 2492 - Passing of the Police Protection Act - Allows the local police to carry standard firearms. **** NEWS FLASH **** New Leader to push for more Religious Leanings! |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
Random quote: "Rifles, muskets, long-bows and hand-grenades are inherently democratic weapons. A complex weapon makes the strong stronger, while a simple weapon so long as there is no answer to it gives claws to the weak." - George Orwell |
