Keymon-Likatonia Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Movement

| The Republic of Keymon and the Republic of Likatonia, in recognising that our nations can no longer exist within a state a constant distrust and disregard, hereby recognise this treaty as the beginning of a new era in calm, respectable and peaceful relations between our two states. ππ«ππ’ππ₯π π Between Keymon and Likatonia there shall exist a state of friendship and mutual understanding. In this state of friendship and mutual understanding, both governments agree to recognise the full sovereignty and political independence of each other. ππ«ππ’ππ₯π ππ Both nations shall resolve matters considered to be detrimental to the maintenance of the state of friendship and mutual understanding (as established underneath this treaty), through peaceful/diplomatic means and pledge to avoid the precedent of conflict. ππ«ππ’ππ₯π πππ There shall be a "White Room Commission" whereby both the governments of the Republic of Keymon and the Republic of Likatonia shall resolve their grievances (as mentioned prior). ππ«ππ’ππ₯π ππ Both nations pledge to promote cultural exchanges between each other to foster a common understanding and appreciation for the cultures present in both Keymon and Likatonia. ππ«ππ’ππ₯π π The Governments of Keymon and Likatonia shall grant onto their respective nationals the right to move freely between the two nations on a pre-established visa system. In recognition of this, both nations shall develop an Inter-Island Ferry Service which shall be jointly owned (50/50) by the governments of Keymon and Likatonia. ππ«ππ’ππ₯π ππ Both nations pledge to cooperate on matters pertaining to customs and immigration. (i.e) border checks on either end of the aforementioned Inter-Island Ferry Service should either government request such border checks be imposed. ππ«ππ’ππ₯π πππ Both nations pledge to meet on an annual basis to discuss the operation of the Inter-Island Ferry Service and to determine its operations ranging from circumstances including ticket prices, seating arrangement and other related matters. |
