TREATY CONDUCTED ON BEHALF OF THE EMPIRE OF GAO-SOTO AND THE ALLIED POWERS ON THE END OF THE PRESENT WAR From the implementation of the present treaty all hostilities of the war shall cease. Diplomatic relations between Hulstria and Gao-Soto and the Allied powers shall resume with full ties. This treaty shall apply to the present signatories and all of their legal successor states. PART I - The Governance of the former Empire of Gao-Soto Article I The powers that take hold in Hulstria and Gao-Soto recognize the land as a multi-cultural nation and hold the Hulstrian, Gao-Sotoan, and Hulstro-Showan peoples in equal status with the same rights. Article II Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall install a system of government impartial to all citizens. The current imperial throne shall be liquidated immediately upon effect. Article III Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall hand over all members of the Imperial Cabinet immediately to the Allied Tribunal for Justice for judgment in relation to hand and crimes committed during the war. Further personnel may be subject to such trying as is seen fit by the tribunal. Article IV Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall not limit the sale nor infusion of Allied cultural products (for instance, Rowiet Kyo-Pop) for a 50-year period starting immediately after the enforcement of this treaty. PART II - The Status of the Armed Forces Article I Immediately following the signing of this treaty a force of 45,000 or less armed Allied soldiers shall remain in Gao-Soto. The rest shall withdraw. Article II These soldiers shall be designated the Allied Peacekeeping Forces in Hulstria and Gao-Soto, and be comprised of no more than 10,000 Rowiet, 10,000 Yingdalan, 10,000 Ostlandian, 5,000 Sekowan, 5,000 Bianjien, and 5,000 Utemban soldiers. Article III The purpose of the Peacekeeping Forces shall be to ensure a steady transition of Hulstria and Gao-Soto into a mature, peaceful, and democratic state. They shall discourage any attempts to revive or otherwise invoke the old regime. Article IV All Peacekeeping Forces shall be withdrawn from Hulstria and Gao-Soto after the end of a 35 year period following ratification of this treaty, unless otherwise multilaterally negotiated. Each nation participating may mitigate or withdraw it's presence as it wishes, but may not exceed their designated cap. Article V The Empire of Gao-Soto and its' successor states shall have a military no larger than 300,000 active personnel and 1 million reserve. PART III - The Boundaries of Hulstria and Gao-Soto Article I All land seized by the Empire of Gao-Soto shall be returned to their antebellum owners, including the Trans-Dovanian Railway to the Dovanian Railway Corporation. Article II The established borders of Hulstria and Gao-Soto; which may not be violated under any circumstance; consists of that of the 5 provinces of Budenlar, Hulstria Proper, Mitrania, Hilgar, and Kuratha. Hulstria and Gao-Soto may claim no land outside of this territory, and must respect the sovereignty and integrity of all nations. PART IV - Reparations Article I Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall pay 18 Trillion Rowiet Bu (Approximately 15 Billion Baltusian Dollars) in war reparations to the Rowiet Union and its' successor states over a period of 12 years following signing of this treaty. Article II Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall pay 15 Billion Baltusian Dollars in Sekowan Yen to Seko and it's successor states over a period of 12 years following signing of this treaty. Article III Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall fairly compensate Ostland for its' wartime losses as agreed in a bilateral treaty to be designated after the present one. Article III Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall fairly compensate Bianjie for its' wartime losses as agreed in a bilateral treaty to be designated after the present one. Article III Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall fairly compensate Utembo for its' wartime losses as agreed in a bilateral treaty to be designated after the present one. Article III Hulstria and Gao-Soto shall fairly compensate Yingdala for its' wartime losses as agreed in a bilateral treaty to be designated after the present one. |
