Message | This law is to help prevent under age drinking and to help prevent drunken accidents by teens. |

Message | In nations where there is no law preventing minors to consome alcoholic beverages, or a earlier permitted drinking age, there less of a cultural stigma attached to drinking. The tendency is to have a glass or two of wine or beer with a meal with the family, rather than to sneak around and engage in excessive drinking. People learn at a younger age how to moderate their alcohol consumption, and do so in a controlled family environment instead of an unsupervised one. |
