Message | Religions bring comfort, safety and spirit of being together. Even though the MPD is securalistic party we think this proposition goes too far and interferes on people's own, personal affairs. |
Date | 00:20:44, February 04, 2007 CET | From | Revolutionary Anarcho-Nationalist Party | To | Debating the Extermination of Religion Act |
Message | Religions bring false hope and are detrimental to progress. They advocate war, violence, and insubordination to their particular set of beliefs, which they believe is mightier than all opposing views. If God exists, why do multiple religions exist with completely different ideological traits? What are the chances, then, that their religion is the correct one in this infinitely vast, expanding universe? Religion has done nothing but bring misery to mankind. Its elimination will bring so much more happiness to those it persecuted. |

Message | There's nothing wrong in moderate faith on religion and this bill would persecute those who have this faith. Like said, it's people's own personal matter and the state shouldn't interfere into it. |

Message | We are of the belief that we should treat the source of the problem, religion, not just the symptoms -- crazy religious whack jobs. This bill will benefit everyone in the long run. |
Date | 06:13:31, February 04, 2007 CET | From | Socialist Party of Dorvik | To | Debating the Extermination of Religion Act |
Message | Actually, it's up to the people to decide whatever is good for them. We are secular, but if people want to practice a religion, who are we to tell them they shouldn't? |

Message | What the people think may be good for them, may actually be detrimental for themselves and the rest of society. |
