| After several scandals regarding weapon sales of a semi legal nature lately regarding Aldegarian weapons, the ALSP have been politicaly devided lately, regarding it's pacifist ideology, as Mr. Ingvald proposes to Nationalize the weapon industry. A major fraction of the party is highly critical to this as they belive that the party is will be a failure if all weapon production isn't banned within, or preferably before, it's first term in the grand council. The ALSP is aware of the laws regarding sales of weapons but somehow weapons have eluded the system of weapon regulation. The ALSP fraction belonging to Mr. Ingvald therefor whish to further expand the governmental control over the weapons as they will be a treat to public safety till they are all under control. Mr. Ingvals also says that he hope the government will increase the amount of funding the local police get to require bulletproof armor as there is only a single police department in the country right now that actually is capable of fighting against the most highly armed criminals. It's just this kind of criminals that is likely to benefit from the lack of security that the private co operations are currently showing. |
