Bill: Food Monitoring Re-Adjusting Act of 2357

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Party of Dorvik

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2358

Description[?]:

Current food monitoring creates big load of bureaucracy in the central & local governments only for small gains and increases the prices of food products in the market. Our farmers and producers of food are responsible enough not to include detrimental ingredients and they cannot risk to lose their customers.

* Carl Stohlberg, Senator and Member of the Senate Food & Agriculture Committee

MessageSo you want them to be able to label anything as anything, thus increasing rates of such things as food allergy reactions and food poisonings which cost the government money? We oppose.

MessageIt's not the duty of the government to force enterprises to label foods & beverages, we trust on them at this issue for obivious reason: Labeling belongs to interests of enterprises themselves if they want to get their products sold and without getting major mass lawsuits & attack from the media after them. Finally we see independent decision from the GFP without waiting for the response from their allies.
