Message | These proposals are dramtic but must be passed to ensure safety for our people, i trust that these will be temporary measures? |

Message | We agree with all but 2: Martial Law and the shut down of the national highway system. The nation is not at war, but against a virus, so unless you plan at arresting virus-sympathisers... Shutting down the national highways system would be dumb, because people still have to work. If you have to work outside of your city, you'd be in deep troubles and thus, could get fired. This would stop what's left of the Dovish economy and would plunge us into an economic crisis. A part from those 2, we agree fully that something must be done. Redo the bill without these proposals and we agree. Else, we will have to reject, sadly |

Message | We find the LSP to be rather short-sighted, without martial law to enforce law and order, citizens will panic and riot. Valuable items will be looted, violence will erupt, and worse of all, proper protocol will not be followed. |

Message | Arbitrary arrests caused by virus alerts? The only thing, if the Ministry of Health and Social Services would do it, is to sensibilize the population about that virus. What to do to not get it. What precautions should the population get. The LSPD approved the quarantine as a way of preventing the virus to propagate, but it seems to not work anyway, because people are not informed. In my own riding (North Micana-Town), people hear of it, but don't know what it is really, what precautions to take, etc. So an information program to the population would be more helpful to calm them down than repression. - Louise Haraldson, LSPD critic for Healthcare and Social Services |
