Message | We would support 1 and 3, if appropriate safeguards were drafted in, even article 4. But to support Article 2 would be backtracking on a manifesto commitment. That we will not do. |
Date | 23:14:23, February 24, 2007 CET | From | Civil Liberties Party | To | Debating the Liberal Economics |
Message | We could support Articles 1 and 4, but not 2 or 3. So we will be voting no. |
Date | 02:49:08, February 25, 2007 CET | From | AM Populist Social Democrats | To | Debating the Liberal Economics |
Message | Article 1 is, to us, the most awful. False advertising cannot be allowed. Article 2 is also very awful. Corporations must pay to use the infrastructure that allows them to succeed. Currently taxing the poor, as is being done, is awful. Article 3 is fine with us, as long as there are publically owned defense industries, and Article 4 is acceptable to us. So: Article 1: NO!! Article 2: NO! Article 3: mild yes Article 4: mild yes Overall, a big NO. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
