Submitted by[?]: Likaton Coalition of the Willing
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2368

We believe that whilst religion is sometimes a good thing, we need to restrain certain antagonistic faiths from gaining a foothold in our sacred lands. We also feel that personal belief should not be cause for tears. No one should be forced to dress against their beliefs. |

Message | The LITP would like to apologise to the Convocation. Due to a typographical error, the above bill has been worded incorrectly. It should read: We believe that whilst religion is sometimes a good thing, we need to restrain certain antagonistic faiths from gaining a foothold in our nation. We also feel that personal belief should not be cause for debate. No one should be forced to dress against their beliefs. |
Date | 01:34:23, March 02, 2007 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the LITP Manifesto 2 |
Message | The LITP highlights the problem - people ARE forced to dress against their beliefs, whenever religious dress is allowed to dominate visibility. Some people will always feel the peer pressure to be irresistable, and will be compelled to 'conform' with religious dress. |
Date | 02:01:39, March 02, 2007 CET | From | Democratic National Party | To | Debating the LITP Manifesto 2 |
Message | We support. Thank you LITP |
Date | 03:14:21, March 02, 2007 CET | From | Civil Liberties Party | To | Debating the LITP Manifesto 2 |
Message | We agree with Article 2 but can not agree with Article 1, so we must vote no. |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson |
