Message | How does allowing local governments to set curfews a good idea? In a national emergency it makes more sense if all the laws in the Country are the same rather than different in local areas. We would want to reduce confusion not increase it, otherwise there would be no emergency. Gated communities do nothing but split the country and increase tensions between those who have split themselves off from one section of the community increasing crime levels. Also, why should the private sector have the monopoly on gated communities? If they are allowed, which should not happen, then both the public and private sector should be allowed to operate them, or does freedom only mean freedom if its private? Again, dealing with illegals should be the same law countrywide rather than different in local areas. Why increase confusion over the law for our people, let alone the illegals. Why would be we pay a criminal? That's like saying to them "well done for commiting a crime, now we'll give you a free home and a fully paid job, isn't that better than your minimum wage job where you could barely afford your rent". Please try and get some perspective. |
