Bill: Hospital Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Green Nationalists
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2085
Description[?]:
How about this to reduce our country's debt? Why should the rich ones take advantage of a free hospital? With this proposal, the poor people will still have a decent health care, the richer classes will have to pay for it. Ofcourse, those private hospitals will continue to be heavily regulated, so the overall quality of our health system will not suffer. |

Message | If you want to save money let the localities fund public libraries and vocational schools. Accessible healthcare is a right of all whether they are rich or poor. We should not let private healthcare overcharge the state for individuals with low incomes. |

Message | The DCP as one of the parties that voted for the bill that created a free and accessible healthcare system in this nation is selling out its core constitutents. |

Message | I don't believe we are selling out anything. No one will be denied access under this plan. Those who can afford insurance privately will have it, and those who can't will have their bills paid by the state. |

Message | Are the insurance company lobbyists giving out that much cash to politicians so as to make them rebuke the legislation they helped pass. By the way, how can you say "no one" will be denied access under this plan. Can you account for every single person in Gaduridos and factually state that they can all afford insurance? Secondly, the "low-income" label will have requirements set by the government, what about the hundreds of thousands if not millions of people who fall into the category that isn't "low-income", but still cannot afford private health insurance? You are denying them their basic rights which you helped institute. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
