| Message | We brokered a compromise. AM parties agreed to the compromise. The ConLibs refused and convinced others to, as well. At that point we decided that we would still attempt to push for compromise, but would fully join the AM parties in insisting that "AM"-- not the full "Axis Mundi"-- be part of the name. the "AM Free Republic of Likatonia", we would happily vote for, although we do have a preference for Commonwealth. And by the way, we shall point out that a name change requires 2/3 for (OOC: Mod acceptance of) passage. |

| Message | We have to point out - 'normality' for Likatonia IS the Axis Mundi - since Likatonia has been known as (some variant of) the Axis Mundi Republic of Likatonia for more of it's history than anything else. It was an 'empire' for a while. It was 'Likaton' for a while. It was various variants on 'Greater Likatonia' for a while. But, by FAR it's longest single identity, has been with the Axis Mundi. Indeed, the Axis Mundi Republic of Likatonia existed long before the parents of the parents of the ConLib party decided that having kids might be a good idea. |
