In order to guarantee the future prosperity of this nation, and to preserve the natural beauty that attracts tourists and, consequently, large income streams as well as protecting logging industries and general cleanliness, the Government will introduce limited environmental protection for the Country. To this end the Government will: - Enforce moderate pollution restrictions on industry. Limitations on carbon emissions will be introduced, but industries will be allowed to trade their emissions with each other should they not use up their quotas. Quotas will be set after discussion between the Ministries of Trade and Industry and Environment and Tourism. - Recycling will be made mandatory for residential and commercial properties along with the current industrial properties. Provision for this increase in waste will be made available through local councils. - Encourage replacement level replantation of trees in order to both safeguard the forests of Hobrazia and the future of the industry. |
