Message | A cabinet for sensible moderation in policies, with the two largest parties taking more positions. (It should be noted that we have only given ourselves one position, in the spirit of unity). |
Date | 02:37:21, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Redneck Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | Two largest, excluding our Imperial friends.. Of course why forsake morality for power? Far too many parties are headed for the Eternal Hellfire. |
Date | 02:58:38, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Imperium et Libertas Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | That's a valid point, we obviously meant the largest of those in the proposal. Which, incidentally, contains no Nazi parties. What an odd view of morality you chaps have. |
Date | 08:26:35, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Luthori Tory Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | Ignore it - it's just typical Puritan propaganda - go back to your eternal depravity, Rednecks... |
Date | 10:15:48, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Catholic Justicial Party - Solidarity | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | This is OK, but we are disappointed that the CDP have not been included, they help serve as a bulwark against extremism. |
Date | 11:53:34, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Imperium et Libertas Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | We should make it clear that the CDP were invited to participate but chose to decline, nobly choosing to stay out of power in order to make up part of an effective opposition. |
Date | 16:21:23, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Luthori Tory Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | Why hasn't this proposal passed? All the required 'yes' votes are in... |
Date | 16:22:46, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Imperium et Libertas Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | We were wondering that. Will it pass in the next month? |
Date | 16:27:00, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Luthori Tory Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | Hopefully, though if not it should become law by November 2374... |
Date | 16:32:06, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Falanges Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | I think you cannot pass a government that does not contain the party having the HoS: Look at the proposal by the ILP of government of may 2373. It contains a majority of seats for yes and it did not pass |
Date | 16:35:32, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Imperium et Libertas Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | OOC: I think that was different- an election fell half way through the proposal. |
Date | 16:37:59, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Imperium et Libertas Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | OOC: And technically this bill does automatically contain the Imperials- they chair the cabinet. |
Date | 20:43:28, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | OOC: If this bill technically contains the Imperials then they would have to vote for it in order for it to pass. Just an idea... |

Message | yes true this is what i meant |
Date | 21:05:13, March 15, 2007 CET | From | Imperium et Libertas Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2374 |
Message | OOC: Heh, we'll see what happens. (That would strike me as somewhat odd though- it removes the need for the "only the head of state may propose a coalition" option). Another possibility is that one cabinet proposal can't go through until there are no earlier ones on the table. |
