Message | We want to make outlaw the istitutional church. Religion is permitted as individual evangelism, but no one religoon has to become a church. We don't permit church or similar istitutions. I know that i'll be the only one that will vote yes, but our supporters want these bills. And we do it. |

Message | Why restrict the ability of like-minded individuals to join together in a group, especially when their religious beliefs would mandate such activities? |
Date | 01:01:14, March 17, 2007 CET | From | Communist Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the P.D.L. 001/2374 |
Message | We agree. Organised religion only creates problems and brainwashes millions. |

Message | Religious institutions should be able to promote themselves and advertise whenever they want. Advertising will simply spread awareness of the church or institution in question. The TCP also finds it rather ironic that the Marxist Party claims that 'organised religion only creates problems and brainwashes millions', when brainwashing millions is something that communism has always actively engaged in. |

Message | Of course, we don't have schools full of students being told of the greatness of capitalism, do we.... |
Date | 00:46:09, March 18, 2007 CET | From | Social Democrats | To | Debating the P.D.L. 001/2374 |
Message | We are convinced that every organisation should have the right to express their belief, but of course this has to be regulated appropriately. We suggest that this area is regulated, not just eliminated. |
Date | 05:00:05, March 18, 2007 CET | From | Party of Moderates | To | Debating the P.D.L. 001/2374 |
Message | Hm, the church has every right to advertise itself just like any other institution. Of course, if the advertising is done on public grounds, then there is a problem. We believe in secularism and tolerance of religious beliefs. While this bill would stop violations of secularism, it would also show intolerance to religious beliefs. That is, it does this assuming that the advertising this bill is talking about also includes advertising through the media and even just on the streets. If it does, then this is also an issue of government control. This bill would then be a violation of free speech. After all, who is to say what is advertising. Since this bill oversteps the power the government should have and it elimates all advertising, showing an intolerance of religious beliefs, we are against this bill. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
