Message | Opposed because choice should only be allowed to people within the private sector? We're already subsidising the cost of pre-school education, we might as well operate it publicly and control the costs and quality rather than hoping the private sector will provide an equitable service. |
Date | 02:11:35, March 18, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Party | To | Debating the Education Act: Article 2, Pre-School (Nursery) Education |
Message | Opposed because this will actually limit choice. Parents will have little choice but to go to the gov't (you) for their children's education, which means ultimately that they will be force-fed socialism. |
Date | 11:04:04, March 18, 2007 CET | From | We Say So! Party | To | Debating the Education Act: Article 2, Pre-School (Nursery) Education |
Message | Rather than being forced into private establishments that have no guarantees on child education or safety and are reliant on the good will of the people that operate them. We would also point out that though this Party might well be central many of our former colleagues would certainly argue against us being socialist, not least because we support private industries. |
