Bill: Religious Affirmation Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Juxist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2376

Description[?]:

This bill would reaffirm our nation's commitment to the separation of Church and State. Gov't has no place with religion, just as religion has no place in gov't.

[Reasoning for Articles]

Art. I; By holding a public official, any and all officials conform to separation of Church and State and are not allowed to wear and religious artifacts.

Art. II; Are religious institutions corporations or houses of their respective God?

Art. III; For the protection of this nation and its citizens, inconvenience is superfluous.

Art. IV; Reiteration of the seperation of Church and State principle.

MessageOnly God knows for certain who is going to hell. These policies are wrong because they assume that the opinion of atheists are correct while assuming that religious opinions are wrong. We support freedom while the Juxist Party supports close-mindedness.

MessageReligions are lifestyles, people should not be forced into them and religions should not be forced upon anyone. Freedom for all unless you have some twisted definition in your Book.
