MessageThe TCP applauds the Independant Right once again, for proposing this strong criminal deterrant.
Of course, the TCP will vote in favour of this bill - the death penalty is a punishment that the TCP has constantly tried to impliment in this nation.

MessageWhat about miscarriages of justice?

The death penalty is not a deterrant at all. Do you really think crime will stop just because a few crimes are punishable by death?

We will never support the death penalty.

MessageCrime won't stop, no. But we will be able to deter some of the more violent crimes, not to mention this is a just punishment for many of the most abhorrent acts criminals commit.

MessageAbsolutely not!

We do not believe that any human being may end the life of another. Furthermore we are binded by several treaties, and we do not believe that it is wise to abandon them.

We will never support this bill!

FromParty of Moderates
ToDebating the Capital Punishment Establishment Act
MessageThe Party of Moderates thinks the death penalty is a great deterrant and a good way to deliver justice despite what our fellow parties believe on this subject. We support this bill. However, we would like a definition of capital crimes. We would like to know if the capital crimes are merely limited to murder or if they go beyond.
