Message | Sorry, admin error. The bill is called the "times are a-changing" bill. Times are different now, and we need to keep up, and change with the times, if we want to protect our young, wheter we like it or not! |
Date | 05:07:00, March 18, 2007 CET | From | Moderate Libertarian Party (NoCoalition) | To | Debating the 2 |
Message | The MLP asks whether this bill, being a federal mandate, will actually receive funding from the national government? And, for that matter, how much funding? If not, how can we pass a very progressive yet unfunded federal mandate and expect local school districts to pick-up the tab? The bill's aim is terrific: age-appropriate sex education to prevent unwanted pregnancies, STDs, etc. However, without appropriate funding, it will be on the books but unable to be carried-out in classrooms across the nation. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow official national flags of real-life nations or flags which are very prominent and recognisable (eg. the flags of the European Union, the United Nations, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union or the Confederate States of America). |
