Bill: Suggestions for a New Spending Policy 2377

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democrats

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2378

Description[?]:

If the New Finance Minister supports we shall put this to vote. If he propose his own, we will back.

To create acceptable levels of spending, allowing for the five fold expansion of our forces, and putting money aside for the President and Internal Minister to establish their own paramilitary organisations.

Health and Social Services, along with Education are actually given some money. Currently the state is supposed to run free health and education, but with 200million LODs, that is impossible, so we increase this to 12Billion (ooc: unrealistic I know, but the current level is farcical given that the state is supposed to provide free health to over 100million Lodamunians, ie 2 LODs per person for the entire year)

3Billion earmarked to aid landowners, and more in other areas as well.
