Message | Most farmers are insured to cover most such failures. However, subsidies that help stablize the effect of market prices is a must. If a particular crop drops to levels unsustainable for that farmer, it can ruin them. |

Message | Currently, our subsidies are handed out according to need, IE. farmers with crops with low market prices will recieve subsidies. Of course, these subsidies are NOT going to make a cheap crop very profitable, but they will allow farmers the income to support a family (and the ability to actually shift crops rather than be forced to sell and cut their losses). |
