Details

Submitted by[?]: Republican Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2390

Description[?]:

We should not tac essentail items, such as food and bacic clothing, we need to give the poor a helping hand by not giving them money, but cutting tax on items that are needed. But I know no one here will vote for no tax, i believe this is a compromise, which I think will pass.

MessageAbsolutely we will support. I don't remember when we raised the essential goods tax so high. This is a crime to deny people food through unjust taxation.

MessageThe problem is that this will greatly reduce our surplus - which we need to fight a war (possibly).

MessageAs we have no hostile or fascist neighbours, and I'm sure no parties within the congress intend to fight a war of aggression, *glances briefly at the IP* I see no need to put any more than the usual wartime precautions into action.

MessagePlus our surplus was over 77,000,000,000 TPD Last year, thats more then enough to fund a war.
