MessageWe think it isn't wise to form a cabinet with 4 parties when a coalition government containing only 3 is possible.

MessageWe will never support this undemocratic cabinet ruling out a party that is both the biggest and delivers the HoS.

Messagewhat's so undemocratic about it? Every majority excludes someone. Why are the 30% of voters less eligible to be "left out" than those who voted for the CUI and NCP. Every vote has the same value and so does every seat in Congress, no matter whom it represents.
And what has the HoS to do with it? We had lots of governments without the Chancellor's party involved during this century. As far as we can remember we even had a Fascist Prime Minister and a Socialist Chancellor at the same time. So what? A majority is a majority and the 4 parties represented in this proposal have already proven that they can govern together. That's why, though we share your stability argument in theory, we don't agree in this special case.

MessageWell, I hope for you that the parties you invited will agree your point of view here and prevent you from a great disgrace by voting down your proposal. I don't completely back the words of Ikradonian Interest, but I repeat this proposal isn't wise. I hope other parties will understand our concern.

MessageWe would fully respect if the NCP would choose your cabinet. What I was meaning with "In this case yes" is that a majority is a majority in terms of forming a government. In other cases minority rights are neccessary. This was not meaning that we are sure that this proposal will gain a majority. We will not feel disgraced at all if the NCP will vote against us. All what we were saying were just comments against the Ikradionian Interest's remark that it is undemocratic to leave the largest party out of the government and your comment that our government will be instable.

Random quote: First and second class seats on public transport shall be BANNED! We are all FIRST CLASS people, regardless of whether we are rich or poor and can afford or not afford to pay for a more expensive seat. From now on, all seats on trains, buses, trams, planes and so on shall be the SAME. We will all travel in the SAME way, TOGETHER. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
