Details

Submitted by[?]: Bündnis 89 / Die Faulenzer

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2390

Description[?]:

Whereas the Dundorf Demokratische Republik remains a strong democracy,

Whereas voter turn-out in the federal elections of 2389 were at 81.99 percent,

Whereas the DDR shines as a beacon of electoral transparency, and where its citizens continually vote in free and fair elections,

Be it resolved that each member of this legislature congratulates their constituents and citizens nation-wide on the participation in last year's federal election.

Much better that you combine them with actual bills, unlike previous others...

Message(According to the rules of the game, I guess resolutions do almost nothing to benefit your party, but I think they're fun to think of and add a little flavor. Afterall, if we were legislators working in Washington, London, Brussels, Strasburg, or wherever, much of our time would be spent drafting and voting on non-binding resolutions. I think sometimes they can be used to go on the record on an issue [such as the Financial Responsibility Resolution] or are a fun way to incorporate the history/geography/culture of the nation [the Unterschloss Zoo Resolution].)
