Bill: Stopping Murder Bill 2390
Details
Submitted by[?]: God's and the King's Fighters
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2390
Description[?]:
Why should we allow the killing of people? If they want to die, they shall kill themselves, or stop the treatment, which is of course one of their choices. But we don't see, why we should allow something, that causes so many problems with corruption, and loads a burden on old people, who are under constant pressure from their families, because now they could end their lives without repressions. By allowing euthanasia, we allow a kind of murder to become socially accquainted. In every country, where Euthanasia is possible in the real world, for example in the Netherlands, there are massive problems with corruption, and Euthanasia without the patient's consent is quite often done, according to national studies. Also, the old people's homes in Germany on the border to the Netherlands are overcrowded with Dutch pensionists, who have to fear Euthanasia. |

Proposal[?] to change The right to euthanasia.
Old value:: Euthanasia is allowed with consent from the patient and the treating doctor.

Message | A socially accquainted kind of murder.... Seems like a nice idea for the United forces of Decay. We'll therefore not support you here. |

Message | It is not just the patient that decides, however. It must currently have the approval of a doctor, and if we don't trust our doctors, then we have a real problem. |
