Bill: Industrial Hemp Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2087
Description[?]:
Aldegar has no regulations at all on the use of industrial hemp, which means the raw material often falls into the wrong hands and is abused as a drug. Some commentators want industrial hemp production banned altogether but we suggest a sensible middle course: let us permit the production of industrial hemp, but insist upon rigid regulations to prevent the possibility of industrial hemp production encouraging drug abuse. |

Message | We back this bill, but would in no way back legalisation of cannabis. That would not be the way to solve this problem of drug abuse. |
