Currently, all forms of sexual content are free to be shown on television at all times of the day. In order to protect younger DDR residents, who have easy television viewing access during the daytime hours, this bill seeks to change the CONTENT and HOURS of sexually explicit programs shown on DDR television networks. This bill will NOT prevent the showing of sexual material on TV, but will limit it to times that will not be readily seen by children, and will keep violent and hard core pornography off our airwaves. |
