| Message | But isn't that assuming criminal intent and generalizing all companies? We don't do that with individuals or religions or non-profits. Also: this bill keeps government firmly in the picture except for enforcement, which is inconsistent and lax anyways. At least consumers would have government-provided safety and health info. but be able to choose whether to follow said guidelines or not. Think about it; it is a CONSERVATIVE compromise. |
