Message | 20% is already very low, and surely we don't want to tax the individual higher. This would decrease the government's funds and could thus lower the quality of healthcare, police equipment, etc... |

Message | SDP, we don't even know what our budget is. Saying that cutting taxes will make us run short is a bit premature, no? OOC: let's take advantage of it while it lasts, we can always raise rates once we see that our budget is too low |

Message | You didn't seem to have that problem when the LAP started scrapping things like free contraceptives in the name of "lowering taxes"..... |
Date | 16:28:53, July 29, 2005 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Corperate Tax Relief Bill |
Message | I voted against free contraceptives. We're a moral party, recall? See: Contraception Subsidisation Act 2084 |
Date | 17:29:42, July 29, 2005 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Corperate Tax Relief Bill |
Message | Free contraceptives was only one of numerous events where the LAP refused to fund things in the name of lowering taxes. And I wouldn't say it's morally right to oppose free contraceptives, after all, from a very moralistic point of view (the view of several RL Roman-Catholic cardinals), procreation serves to spread life, not death. |

Message | End subsidies!! We support a 15% tax rate. |
Date | 02:13:51, July 30, 2005 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Corperate Tax Relief Bill |
Message | Which is why you don't have contraceptives... We're lowering taxes right now. |
Date | 09:29:38, July 30, 2005 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Corperate Tax Relief Bill |
Message | "Which is why you don't have contraceptives..." Since when does not having condoms stops the spreading of HIV/AIDS? |
Date | 18:51:14, July 30, 2005 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Corperate Tax Relief Bill |
Message | Btw, its spelt Corporate. Set it to 15% and send to vote. We will vote for. |

Message | Shush you... More people are killed through the use of contraceptives then are killed through AIDS. (*attempts to keep a straight face*) |
