Bill: National Security Act of 2395

Details

Submitted by[?]: Christian Democratic Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2399

Description[?]:

We cannot let foreign countries to establish their embassies into our national soil without any requirements as it also gives a chance for aggressive countries & even rebel governments to open up their own representative offices in Kirlawa, thus possibly harming our relations to some other countries and giving a gateway for terrorism, organized crime but especially, for covert operations and foreign military intelligence. Same arguments apply to foreign residents in Kirlawa as well.

This should be not a political question but a matter of true national security and we hope that other parties will notice this grave danger as well.

MessageWhile Article 2 may be up for debate, we see no reason for restricting foreign embassies. By maintaining an open policy, and by making it plain to all nations that an embassy in Cadoria doesn't confer any more than a means of communication.

Our security and intelligence services are empowered to monitor foreign delegations anyway.

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.

Random quote: "Let's not forget that we belong to history, that history that men and women who fought before did, that history that men and women who are fighting now will do." - Tera Pisthis, former Selucian politician
