Message | Family First is not certain that we agree with this proposal - yes, businesses should be able to advertise their product as they see fit, but under no circumstance can we allow advertising of an explicit nature, especially a sexually explicit nature, to be aired or displayed publicly. Such abhorrent depictions are completely unnessicary, and use sexually inticing and brainwashing material to draw people to the product, rather than the product's good attributes. We also feel that this kind of advertising will have an impact on this nation's children - we do not want children witnissing smutt of this nature. Therefore, whilst Family First believes all businesses should be free to promote themselves, they must only be allowed to do so if their material adheres to a certain standard, and so long as they are not explicit and unsuibtable for children. We must vote against this bill - current legislation is much more suibtable. |
Date | 10:51:49, April 28, 2007 CET | From | Communist Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the The government's policy on advertising Act |
Message | We cannot support this at all. There must be regulation on something as widespread as advertising, and there must be regulation on advertising to ensure that children are protected from more adult media. |
Date | 02:08:05, April 29, 2007 CET | From | Party of Moderates | To | Debating the The government's policy on advertising Act |
Message | We don't support. The public shouldn't be exposed to advertising that takes advantage of their uncontrolable psyche like subliminal advertising. |
