Message | MUP/PET believes that this bill is necessary to protect civil liberties. While we won't rush it to vote, we also believe it is a crucial measure to ensure that Ikradon remains a just and free nation. |

Message | The right to move around unhindered, the right to not be checked for ID without cause, and the right to freedom from pointless government interference are all civil liberties. |

Message | We do not agree wiht MUP/PET, because the current legislation doesn't imply that one could be checked without cause. About the civil liberties: the BF party considers the possiblity of being recognised as the citizen you are by means of an identity card, as a vital civil right. |

Message | Mandatory ID card carrying doesn't imply peoples movement is hindered, nor that the government interferes in peoples daily life. It does mean: - reduction of crime (going from marginal offenses to welfare freud) - control of immigration (though anyone can claim our nationality, our nation has the duty to recognize its inhabitants) - facilitating pretty much all paperwork - quick verification of identity - promotes the use of an ID card as a tool of identification in pretty much all paperwork |

Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn |
