Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | The Liberty Party strongly objects to Articles 4-6, 9, and 10. Article 4 threatens the national security of the nation and is a needless restriction on the military's ability to provide for defense and establish a Mutual Assurance of Destruction to any who threaten the nation. Article 5 is a pointless restriction on the free market and the government's ability to increase revenue without increasing taxes. Article 6 is a terrible step backwards in deregulation of the economy, and deeply threatens the sustained prosperity of the nation. People should not be able to retire with full benefits only half way through their lives. Article 9 is an ABHORRENT on the face of freedom and the fact that it even appears in a bill called "Good Bye Dictatorship" is ridiculous. Article 10 is an unneeded expansion of government control over individuals' lives. |
