Bill: Popular Defence Reform Act 2401

Details

Submitted by[?]: People's Populist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2401

Description[?]:

The people have elected us, knowing full well that only we can protect them from the terrors that lie outside our borders! Other countries are filled with terrorists and enemies that wish to destroy us and/or force us to speak foreign languages!

As outlined in our prior published manifesto, "Giving The Public What They Want Good and Hard", we hereby take the tough stance on terrorism and enemies of the state: any terrorists entering our borders will be destroyed, repeatedly, with nuclear weapons if neccesary.

MessageIn other news, public concern that such policies could lead to "increased risk of vapourisation" to our border-dwelling citizens, was swiftly brushed aside with the promises of tax cuts.

MessageIf articles 2 and 3 were changed to the 'in retalitation' option, and the PoW one was left as it currently is, I'd support this bill.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow official national flags of real-life nations or flags which are very prominent and recognisable (eg. the flags of the European Union, the United Nations, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union or the Confederate States of America).
