Bill: Abolish the Minimum Wage
Details
Submitted by[?]: The Liberty Organization
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2402
Description[?]:
"This Bill is of such importance to the future of Keymon it must be seperated from the remainder of the Liberty Organization's economic reforms. The minimum wage is a pernicious tax on the business leaders of Keymon. It keeps our great nation from achieving full employment and reduces the well-being for many people who would otherwise be employed. Allow citizens to consent to work at any wage they deem acceptable." - Timothy Reed The Liberty Organization Candidate for Minister of Finance |

Message | Workers need some rights, Corporations will abuse this law if it is implemented. There needs to be some sort of fixed price to ensure that every worker is getting paid what they deserve. This proposal will lead to a "Anarcho-Capitalistic" Environment. |

Message | "The Liberty Organization believes in the rights of workers. Workers should have the right to contract their labor at any price the market will bear. It is not the government's place to decide an arbitrary price floor below which such wage negotiation should not occur." - Timothy Reed |
