Message | "how can we remain a neutral country, which so many parties are aiming to do, if we allow our intelligence agencies to spy on others? that's like an oxymoron. i urge my colleagues to vote no." Thats what you said, yet in this proposal you want to ratify a treaty that takes a stance on a international issue. How would this be neutrality? Ha! |

Message | As of right now, this treaty does not require us to take any action, other than to send a delegate to an upcoming peacekeeping convention. In addition, the history of our own nation has a part that some may call "genocide": "The new government immediately began...condemning many political opponents to death via the claim of 'treachery'...allowed the governemtn to pursue its goals of mass murder of the Jewish and Zen Buddhist populations of the nation." -Wiki, Section on Keymon I call that a genocide. It is our duty to prevent events like this from succeeding. We know the terrors of genocide. We must work for the betterment of our world. This...this horrible, horrible "game," for some is a crime against humanity. This is something that we, along with other countries, must work to stop by diplomatic means, not by conflict. I urge a yes vote on ratification. Prime Minister Horatio L. Buck Labour Party |
