MessageThe more information we can provide our people with the better off we will be as a democracy. For a democracy to exist the people need to practice their rights and increasing the amount of civic information will help them do so. We agree with this bill.

MessageThe public radio station is fine for those that can hear, but some of the citizens of Gaduridos have hearing difficulties. With a television broadcast, we can provide those people with subtitles, using teletext.

We must ensure that this information is accessible to all, not just those without disabilities.

Other citizens will also get the freedom to choose their preferred media, radio or television.

MessageI don't feel the benefit is worth it in terms of cost. We have to stay fiscally responsible here, and paying for a public radio station is more than enough in terms of providing information.

MessageThe DCP is right. We need to privitise more businesses, not make them public.

MessageThis wouldnt be making an existing business public, this would be creating a new television channel for informational and educational purposes, paid for by the government. However, for those of us that can remember this would actually be restoring an institution which existed for a very long time.
