Message | We realise that the National Service program has only recently been implemented. However, we are still opposed to it. KDL has mentioned that they may be able to support this. "Dismantling our nuclear arm capabilities AND conscription army into small professional army will expose our country into grave danger in the future and also reduce our major power status in Artania. We can give up other (either?) but not both" says Jefferson. It seems noone will agree to dismantle our nuclear arms capabilities. Does this mean that we can give up national service? |

Message | To answer your last question, we say NO. Firstly because the current law allows non-military service, which we strongly support but is not related to defence. Secondly because we see the nuclear deterrent as a last resort, not the first line of defence. Conventional measures are the first line. |

Message | We regard conscription army more important than nuclear arm capability. We oppose this bill. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
