Message | Members of the Imperial Diet, After further review of this treaty, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to recommend that it NOT be passed by the Imperial Diet. In effect, the treaty embargoes the Republic of Dranland by all signatories and does not give a specific time limit on when or under what circumstances this will expire. This would completely destroy our ambitions for the creation of a Dovani Economic Community and Dranish entrance into the Greater Hulstria Free Trade Agreement. Although the Foreign Office would like to commend the authors of this treaty for the spirit of the treaty, unfortunately, it would not be in Greater Hulstria's interests to ratify it. Sincerely, Rt. Hon. Adriaan van Grootfontein, MP Minister of Foreign Affairs Greater Hulstria |
