Message | I feel that the Death penalty should apply to capital crimes. Some crimes are just so terrible that society must apply a harsher standard to deter these crimes. |

Message | But how do you legislate for the inevitable mistakes? |
Date | not recorded | From | National Centrist Party | To | Debating the Abolition of death penalty |
Message | I would decide whether to allow the death penalty or not on economics - except that by the time you make it more or less mistake proof, you've also made it exceedingly costly. Far better to outlaw it and prevent both the mistakes and the costs of preventing said mistakes. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
Random quote: Time and again, the police prove themselves to be the Class Enemy, an armed mob used to oppress the masses and maintain the wealthy in their privileges. ~Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
